Ardrossan is a small town on the Ayrshire coast of Western Scotland. Although a small town, Ardrossan is well connected by road, rail and ferry network because of its location on the Ayrshire coast and proximity to the main motorway network A737.
Apart from the beautiful beaches and wild coastal areas, Ardrossan also has a few notable structures such as Barony St John's Church, St Peter-in-Chains Catholic church built in Swedish style. The magnificent large villas dating from the 19th century lined up in a crescent overlooking the beach is also a beautiful sight.
Ardrossan is also a place of exquisite natural beauty with towering peaks of the Isle of Arran, Isle of Jura and the Horse Isle in the background. The Holm plantation area between Ardrossan and Saltcoats is a popular area for visitors who enjoy walking.
