Mar de Ons ships are built to the highest standard and have all amenities on board. Outside decks allow passengers to take in the breathtaking views of the islands and the Galician Coast. About Ons Island
Since 2002, Ons Island has belonged to the Maritime Terrestrial National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia. This means that the island is only open to the public in the summer, to preserve to nature and wildlife on the island. There are just 78 permanent inhabitants on Ons Island.
Ons Island used to be a safe haven for pirates, but that's not the case now. The island is beautifully preserved and has lots to offer couples and families.
On the island there is plenty to do. You can relax on one of the many beautiful beaches, explore the various hiking trails, watch the wildlife or eat at one of the restaurants, where seafood is a speciality.
